"The Immortals of Meluha" is the first book of the "Shiva Trilogy", by Amish Tripathi. The plot of the first series is very simple and revolves around the protagonist of the book, Shiva, the leader of the Guna tribe, and his journey towards turning into a "Living God" by his deeds. Through this book, Amish has emphasized very important thinking of our society "Just because someone is different doesn't make them evil". Through this book, Amish has also talked about some burning issues of our society in a disguised way like the caste system, and some ridiculous laws of our society.
This book is enriched with the simplicity of language and a very easy and simple narrative style. This book is full of twists that will keep you engaged throughout the plot and will not allow you to put the book down. Soon after finishing the first book of the series, you will find yourself way too excited to start the next series of Shiva Trilogy. The ending of the book is going to surprise you.
Amish through his protagonist Shiva has also given us a message that "Everyone is Mahadev" by using the popular chant of Mahadev devotees "Har Har Mahadev".
