"Once Is Not Enough" by Geeta Lal Sahai is a collection of short stories based on Self-love, Death, loss, loneliness, love, and desire. Langue is lucid and this book is good for beginners who have just started reading, or for the ones who don't like reading a long novel. My favourite among these short stories is The Birthday Cake, Lonely Footsteps, and My Father. I got goosebumps while reading these three. I didn't like the first two stories much, but the last three were amazing.
