Almost Dammed
Book Name: Almost Dammed
Author: Christopher Liebig
Genre: Legal - Thriller
"Almost Dammed" by Christopher Liebig is the sequel of Almost Mortal. In this book, Protagoingst, Samson Young, a defence lawyer, has immortal clients, fallen angels and their half-human offsprings, for whom he is seeking justice with the descendants of God, the God's Archangels.
This book is also full of courtroom dramas, but with a supernatural twist that will keep you hooked through the story. You can read this book stand alone, but I would suggest reading Almost Mortal first, for a better understanding of the Characters. I loved this legal thriller much more than its first part and this book proved to be a page-turner for me which I completed in one sitting as I was totally engrossed in the story. Without reading the first part there are slight chances of feeling lost while reading so it would be better if you go along with the series. The story basically talks about good vs evil. This story is full of suspense, paranormal twist, and myths. The story has several excerpts taken from the Bible also which makes it easier to understand situations better.
Now, Talking about the writing style of the book,. Language is lucid and can be read in one or two sittings. The plot is intriguing and is a combination of, courtroom dramas, legal thrill, suspense, supernatural twist, and myths. I would recommend this book to people who love reading a legal thriller, paranormal thriller, or courtroom dramas. This is a beginner-friendly book as the language is quite easy and the story is neither too long nor too short.
What's going to be in this case of fallen angels? Whether Samson would be able to defend his immortal clients in the court of God's Descendant's just like he defends his mortal clients? Whether fallen angels are going to finally be free of their punishment? To know the answer to all these questions, you need to read the book first.
