Paperback Dreams

Book Name: Paperback Dreams

Author: Rahul Saini

Genre: Fiction

"Paperback dreams" by Rahul Saini is a fictional story of three writers in different timelines with one thing in common, their publisher. The novel talks about Jeet Obiroi, a college Casanova, Rohit Sachdev, writer of the best-selling novel, Karun Mukherjee, a debut writer.
Jeet Obiroi is hiding a secret about his published book which could ruin his reputation. He has spent a hefty amount in PR to get name, fame, and money.
Rohit Sachdev is an introvert who doesn't want to go in front of the media, according to him journalists are corrupt and they don't support the truth. He is furious when he came to know that his publisher is cheating him in giving him his royalty.
Karun Mukherjee is a 16-year schoolboy who thinks that he can write better than these two writers. He has written a book to win the heart of his lady love. He also starts playing dirty to get the name and fame, as according to him, name and fame are everything a person wants in one's life.

"Paperback Dreams" is a shocking, funny, ambitious, and light-hearted story of these writers which will carry you along in the world of writers. The book acted as a mental relief amidst my chaotic life and has refreshed my mind. I liked the way the author has shown the other side of a writer's life. The book is best for beginners. I am eagerly waiting for the next part of the book to know that what happened further in their lives as the ending has left some unanswered questions with me. I picked this book as the title and blur have caught my attention and I am glad I read this.

Do read to know the other side of a writer's life and don't forget to share your views in the comment section.
