"The Viceroy Villa" by Ashwini U Nambiar is a children's book. The story revolves around two sisters Sneha and Shruti. They both have recently shifted to a new Villa, Viceroy Villa, as their father, Akash, a police officer, got posted there. One day their mother, Avantika, a writer came to know about some curse related to the villa and the history behind that curse. Based on that history and curse she started writing a fictional story, but sooner, Sneha and Shruti realised that whatever their mother is writing is turning into reality. Sneha on her birthday got kidnapped along with her sister Shruti and some of their friends, and in an attempt to save themselves from the kidnappers they unknowingly landed up on an island of deadly tribal.
The plot is quite simple and mysterious, perfect for teenagers. I read this book in one sitting and I really enjoyed reading this one. If you are looking for something light and yet refreshing to read go on the adventure along with these kids and you will immensely enjoy it. This book is a perfect blend of comedy, mystery, and adventure which teenagers are definitely gonna enjoy.
Is the Villa really cursed? How is this possible that whatever their mother writes turns into reality? How children's are going to save themselves from the deadly tribal? How they landed upon the island after escaping from the kidnappers? To find the answers to these questions you have to read the book first.
