A Slice Of Life

Book Name: A Slice Of Life

Author: Smita Das Jain

Genre: Short Story

"A Slice Of Life" by Smita Das Jain is a collection of eighteen short stories based on the theme of love, family, friendship, betrayal, pain, an extramarital affair and work from home situations. The stories are divided into three sections, i.e. "In Loving Memory", "All in Good Humour", and "What a Relationship"

"In Loving Memory" contains stories named, Rendezvous, Parched, Forever Love, Twist of Fate, My Heart Will Go On, and  A Tribute to Love

"All in Good Humour" contains stories named, If I Remembered, Where There's a Will, Warning! Computer Virus Spreads to Humans, Much Ado About Nothing, Old Habits Do Die, and It Wasn't The First Time

"What a Relationship" contains stories named, Graduation Day, The Couple, Go Back Home, Where You Belong, The Other Side, Star Crossed, and Daddy's Little Girl.

All the stories are easy to read and enjoyable, but I liked the stories from the section "All in Good Humour" much more than the other two sections. My recommendation in this collection are Rendezvous, Forever Love, Twist of Fate, If I Remembered, Computer Virus spread to Humans, Much Ado About Nothing, Graduation Day, The Other Side, and Daddy's Little Girl.
