"Bhang Milkha Bhang" by Tejaswi Priyadarshi is a Crime Mystery book that portrays the story of five different characters and in the end when all of these characters meet, then what havoc they have created. The five characters in this story are A narco - Paras Rastogi, An NCB Officer - Shamshad, An assassin - Soorya, A millennial homosexual - Milkha, and last but not the least A woman dealing with her abusive marriage - Nandika. The book is divided into 6 parts, and each part tells you the story of these five characters and at the end of each part, you will find one thing in common is that all these characters want only one thing that is Christhayi Bhang. The last part tells us that how these characters meet each other and who will get this Christhayi Bhang, which is rumoured to be so potent that it can even awake a dead person.
The language is lucid and the narration style is engaging. I was not able to put the book down due to curiosity which was increasing double-folded with each passing chapter. But, what I didn't like about this story was too many cuss words were used in the story. I won't suggest this book to beginners and teenagers as the book has gore scenes which I don't think would go along with everyone, and for teenagers, this book has way too much information about drugs and it has lots of cuss words. But, if you can read gore scenes without any issues, then this book is going to be more than amazing for you, and it will give you that much-needed adrenaline rush.
