"The Dark Sun Rises" by Dhruv Seth is an amazing story showing how circumstances and our greed can turn us from good to bad. The story revolves around the theme of love, friendship, greed, drug dealing, underworld, betrayal, money. This is a simple story of a simple boy living in Mumbai, but he later turns out to be a great evil force, Ravan. The story has lots of twists and turns which will keep you hooked till the end. Although at some points I feel that the story is draggy which could have been cut short. The language of the book is beginner-friendly and that narration is slow-paced, but if you make it to the end, then this book has an awesome climax at the end which was worth the reading despite the slow narration. I would suggest this book for beginners.
